At Stamford Free Church (Baptist) we would love to see you at one of our Sunday Services.

  • Sunday worship 10.30 am

We have a wide variety of regular speakers from other churches and from within our own fellowship so the type of service varies from week to week.

On the 2nd and 4th Sundays we celebrate communion and all are welcome to participate according to their own conscience.

At the end of the service coffee, tea and biscuits (and sometimes cake) are served.  We also share lunch together a number of times throughout the year.

  • Monday 9-11.30 am

Coffee morning: all money raised goes to the charity "Hope and Homes for Children".

  • Wednesday  2.30 pm

House groups meets.

  • Thursday

Bible study led by Revd. Trevor Dearing, followed by time of prayer.  Coffee is served at 10.15 before the meeting begins at 10.30.

There is a monthly fellowship lunch (usually held on the third Thursday of the month) from 11 am, incorporating a short service.  Games such as Scrabble and dominoes can be played if wished before the 2-course meal which begins at 12.30 pm.

  • Friday

There is a "Power Praise and Healing" meeting led by Revd. Trevor Dearing on the first Friday of each month at 7pm.  See calendar for details.

The Men's Group meet on the second Friday of each month at 6.30 for a meal followed by a talk or video discussion.  Men are welcome to come for both the meal and discussion, or arrive  just for the discussion.

The church has a table tennis team which plays in the Stamford and Rutland League on Monday evenings during the winter months.

Coach trips to places of interest are organised on an occasional basis through the year in conjunction with the WEA.

We are a Fairtrade Church

Other charities which we support include Tearfund, Open Doors, Rural Sunrise and The Leprosy Mission.
